Replit Agent
Replit's AI agent that builds apps and websites from a chat, tests them and publishes them from one workspace.
Replit Agent builds web and mobile apps from a description in chat, tests its own work in a browser and publishes the result from the same workspace, with no coding needed. Core costs $20 a month billed monthly or $18 billed annually, and Pro starts at $100 a month billed monthly or $90 billed annually.
About Replit Agent
You describe the app or site you want and refine it by giving Agent feedback; it plans the steps, writes the code and sets up authentication, the database and hosting. For harder jobs such as performance work or design overhauls you can turn on Extended Thinking and High-Power Models. While it builds, Agent periodically tests the app in a browser, writes a report and fixes the issues it finds; Replit says this is 3x faster and 10x more cost effective than Computer Use Models.
Agent connects apps to Replit's built-in database and user authentication or to third-party services such as Stripe, and the security page says credentials are injected at runtime and never accessible to the AI Agent. Each app gets separate development and production databases on a serverless SQL service with point-in-time restore. Publishing is one click from Replit, with hosting, monitoring and custom domains, and every app goes through an automated security scan before it can be published.
Agent can also build mobile apps alongside web apps in the same project, and build other agents and workflows that you reach through apps such as Slack or email. The Replit Desktop App has downloads for Mac and Windows, and the enterprise page says it lets Agent build and run apps in your local environment, with access only to the folders you choose; Replit also runs on the web and in iOS and Android apps.
Core includes $20 of monthly credits and Pro at least $100; credits cover building with Agent, publishing and database operations, and reset each month. Under Effort-Based Pricing, Agent spends more credits the longer it works, and usage beyond the included credits is billed pay-as-you-go or covered by a credit pack. Pro adds 10 parallel agents, more Free Mode usage and database rollback up to 28 days, and Enterprise is priced on request.

Replit Agent pros and cons
Pros
- No coding experience is needed, and developers can still review, edit and extend the generated code.
- Every customer gets an isolated Google Cloud project, even on the free tier, and each deployment has DDoS protection and a WAF.
- Usage alerts and hard budget caps let you limit spending beyond the included credits.
- After you publish, Auto-Protect watches apps for newly disclosed CVEs and prepares a patch you can apply from a link.
Cons
- Costs vary by task: Agent spends more credits the longer it works, so complex requests cost more than simple ones.
- Hitting a budget cap temporarily suspends all of your usage-based services.
- Replit warns that Agent's behavior is probabilistic and that it may occasionally make mistakes.
