Google Antigravity
Google's agentic coding platform with a desktop app, CLI, standalone IDE, editor extensions and Python SDK.
Google Antigravity is Google's agentic development platform, with AI agents in a desktop app, a terminal CLI, a standalone IDE, extensions for five editors and a Python SDK. The individual plan costs $0 a month; Google AI Pro and Ultra raise the rate limits, and Gemini Enterprise plans start at $30 per seat a month.
About Google Antigravity
Every Antigravity surface runs on the same agent harness. The Antigravity App is a desktop command center for running several local agents in parallel, grouping conversations into Projects and scheduling tasks; the Antigravity CLI is a terminal client for the same agents; the Antigravity IDE is a standalone agentic editor with Tab completion; and the Antigravity SDK, installed with pip, gives Python developers the same tools and agent loop to build their own agents.
Agents can hand work to subagents running in parallel across isolated Git worktrees, operate across the editor, terminal and browser, and report through Artifacts such as implementation plans, multi-file diffs and browser recordings that you can comment on to steer the work. Skills, MCP servers and hooks extend agent behavior, scheduled tasks start agents on a cron schedule, and Live Voice Transcription turns speech into prompts.
Remote Control lets you drive Antigravity App sessions and CLI instances running on your laptops, desktops or servers from any web browser, with full access to their files, workspaces and credentials, and it sends push notifications when agents need your input. IDE extensions bring the agents into Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Zed and Xcode, sharing context with the rest of Antigravity under one sign-in.
The individual plan costs $0 a month with unlimited Tab completions and Command requests and basic weekly rate limits. Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra add higher rate limits, quotas that refresh every five hours and a flexible AI credit pool, but the pricing page shows no price for either. Through Google Cloud, eligible Gemini Enterprise customers get Standard/Plus plans from $30 per seat a month or a pay-as-you-go plan with no seat fee, and API access is priced by consumption.

Google Antigravity pros and cons
Pros
- Every plan, including the $0 one, gets all product features, such as scheduled tasks and the CLI, plus unlimited Tab completions.
- One Google sign-in covers the desktop app, the CLI and every IDE extension, and the extensions share context with the rest of Antigravity.
- Remote Control keeps agents running on your own machine while you monitor progress, review changes and run commands from a browser elsewhere.
- For enterprise sign-ins, Google says your code, prompts and agent transcripts are never used to train its foundation models; individual users can opt out of data collection in Settings.
Cons
- Individual sign-in works with personal Google Accounts in approved regions, and Antigravity is unavailable to users under 18; Google suggests an @gmail.com address if a Workspace account has trouble signing in.
- Using third-party software such as Claude Code, OpenClaw or OpenCode with an Antigravity login breaks its Terms of Service and can get the account suspended or terminated.
- There is no bring-your-own-key option for extra rate limits, and Google says usage limits are subject to modification.
- Enterprise support for the JetBrains, Zed and Xcode extensions is still in Preview.
