About Pixelcut
Pixelcut's editing tools include proprietary background removal for images and video, upscaling up to 16x with a choice of models including Topaz, an expand tool that extends an image beyond its frame, AI retouching that erases or edits with generative fill, shadow generation and batch edits across hundreds of files at once. Its Creative Agent plans and carries out tasks from your prompts with tools such as Nano Banana Pro and Sora 2.
Product Studio turns one product photo into studio or lifestyle shots: you pick a scene format, set the angle and background or add a prompt, and generate up to four variations at up to 4K, with the uploaded product kept fixed while the scene around it is restyled. Video Studio turns a product photo into short videos such as UGC ads and unboxings, optionally presented by an AI persona, and AI UGC Ads creates talking videos for your brand.
The Pixelcut API offers background removal, upscaling, background generation, try-on and outpainting at $0.01 per credit, with background removal at 5 credits and the others at 10 credits per operation. An MCP server connects Pixelcut to Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients, and Pipelines chain steps such as background removal, upscaling and shadows in one run. Pixelcut had announced a rebrand to Pixa but has decided to keep the Pixelcut name.
