Mistral Vibe
Mistral's AI assistant and agent for work and code, formerly Le Chat, on web, mobile, a CLI and VS Code.
Vibe, formerly Le Chat, is Mistral's AI chat assistant and agent for work and code, used on the web, in iOS and Android apps, in a CLI and in a VS Code extension. A Free plan gives limited access; Pro costs $14.99 a month and Team $24.99 per user a month, excluding taxes, and verified students pay $5.99 a month for Pro.
About Mistral Vibe
Mistral says Le Chat is now Vibe, and that all conversations, settings and plans carry over. Vibe combines an AI chat assistant, Vibe for work, and an AI coding agent, Vibe for code, in one product for individuals, teams and enterprises; Mistral's docs describe it as available across web, mobile, your code editor and your terminal, with chat.mistral.ai still the entry point.
In Work mode, the Vibe web and mobile apps handle quick conversations and multi-stage tasks such as research, drafts, summaries and scheduled runs, with a fast/think toggle for quick replies or deeper agentic work. Mistral lists research across the web, internal docs and connected tools, document and PDF creation, voice input powered by Voxtral, and more than 100 tools, such as email, calendar, Slack, GitHub and Jira, through connectors and MCP.
Vibe Code, the coding mode, can read files, run commands, write code and open pull requests under your supervision, through the CLI or the VS Code extension on a local checkout, or on a GitHub repository in a remote sandbox via Vibe Code Web. Mistral also says it launches in JetBrains or Zed via ACP, and that Vibe Code asks for approval before sensitive actions such as shell commands.
The Free plan covers chat, search, creation and Vibe for code in the terminal, plus Mistral Studio. Pro adds more messages and web searches, all-day coding in the CLI, IDE or on web, and chat and email support; Team adds even higher limits, up to 30GB of storage per user, domain name verification and data export. Enterprise is by contact, with custom models, agents and workflows, audit logs, SAML SSO and white label.
